For independent hotels, resorts & ranches

Your guests now plan trips by asking AI. It already answers for you.

And most of the time it gets you wrong, quietly steering bookings and revenue to whoever it describes accurately. Geocast makes AI tell the truth about you, then gives it a story worth repeating.

No website changes. No credit card. Two free scores: can AI find you, and is it right about you.

Travel's discovery layer flips with every era. It's flipping again.

Each wave moved where travelers decide. You adapted to the last one. AI is the next.

1996
The OTA wave. Expedia, Travelocity, and Booking.com move trip planning online.
2008
Airbnb launches. Supply itself goes direct-to-traveler.
2012
Instagram. Discovery moves to the feed. Some places stopped bothering with a website at all.
2015
Mobile & metasearch. Google folds travel into the phone in your guest's hand.
2022 →
AI agents. ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity start answering "where should I stay?"

Illustrative. Years mark real product launches; the curves are a visual of how the decision layer has moved, not measured market share.

This isn't a fad. It's how your next guest already plans the trip.

60%
of millennials and Gen Z now use AI to help plan their travel.
17%
of US travelers already plan trips with ChatGPT or Perplexity, growing about 30% a year.
Near zero
Independent properties barely register in those AI answers. The chains win by default.
Geocast Grader analysis, 50+ Central Oregon properties

The fastest-adopting consumer behavior shift since mobile booking. The last time behavior moved this fast, the properties that adapted early won the decade.

The part nobody told you

Right now, AI is confidently wrong about your property.

When a guest asks an AI assistant about your hotel, it answers from whatever it scraped, guessed, or pulled from a stale listing. No one approved it. No one checked it.

Even the assistants that search the live web pull from third-party sites with stale or wrong facts, and when they can't find the answer, they fill the gap with a confident guess.

It does not say "I'm not sure." It states the wrong pet policy, the closed restaurant, the old rate as fact, in a confident voice, to a guest who is deciding right now.

And it isn't just ChatGPT. The booking sites you already rely on, Booking.com and TripAdvisor, ask the same AI models, so the same wrong answer about you spreads into the channels you trust most.

The AI answer above is an illustrative example. The corrections are the Wolf Creek Inn's real facts.

Guest: Is the Wolf Creek Inn dog-friendly, and where can we eat there?
The Wolf Creek Inn is a cozy mountain retreat. Pets are not permitted, so you'll want to board your dog. For dining, guests love the on-site Stagecoach Grill, open weekends only.

Can AI find you, and is it right about you?

Enter your property. We ask the five major AI assistants what they'd tell a guest, then hand you two scores: a Visibility score for how often AI can find you, and an Accuracy score for how often it gets you right, with the exact errors to fix.

Two products. Start with one.

First make AI tell the truth. Then give it a story worth repeating.

Foundation is the operational fix you can't skip: your facts, made true and machine-readable, so AI stops quietly costing you bookings. Experiences are the growth layer on top, for your team, your guests, and your events. Buy the base, add the rest when you're ready.

The must-have base

Foundation

A verified, source-receipted, AI-readable version of your property. Wrong facts quietly cost you guests; this is the fix. Hosted by us. Your website stays untouched.

$99 /location / mo*

* Annual plan price. Monthly is $139/location/mo.

  • Verified facts, with receipts. Every public fact is operator-approved and traces to its source.
  • Know when AI reads you. An activity log that separates answer crawlers (OAI-SearchBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot) from user-triggered fetches (ChatGPT-User, Claude-User) and training crawlers (GPTBot, ClaudeBot).
  • A recurring visibility check across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity, with competitor alerts for your geography.
  • Direct booking links. When an assistant recommends you, the answer points at your booking page, not an OTA.

Experiences · à la carte · the bonus that grows demand

The truth radiates outward. You decide how far.

Foundation fixes what's broken. Experiences are the upside: once the verified truth is in place, they carry it to the people around your property, in your team's actual voices, in the guest's own language. Each is bought and priced on its own. Start anywhere. Expand when you love it.

Staff Experience

Lowest risk · internal only
Heard by your team. Internal only.

New hires learn your property before their first shift, in their own language, narrated in their manager's voice (if they want to clone it). No guest ever sees it, so it's the safe place to prove the magic.

Free for your first 5 · then from $6 / active staff / mo*

Guest Experience

The flagship
Heard by your guests. Felt on property.

Guests get a link to your property's guide or scan a QR at check-in, no app required, and your property narrates itself, story by story, place by place, in their language. The part that makes people say "I want that."

from $249* / mo · by guest plays, vineyard to world landmark

Event Experiences

Weddings & corporate
Heard by a wedding party or an offsite.

Wedding stories in the couple's own voices, corporate offsite experiences for groups. Add them when an event calls for it, retire them when it's over.

from $499 / event

Hunt

Add-on · plugs into Guests or Events
A riddle-unlock hunt. Whisper or type the answer to reveal the next pin.

A kids' treasure hunt or ghost-story hunt for guests. A scavenger hunt for a corporate offsite. The same mechanic, dropped into whichever experience wants it.

from $99 / mo per hunt

* Annual-plan rate; monthly is higher. Full pricing and the monthly option are below.

How each experience scales

You only pay for the value each one delivers.

Staff scales with the size of your team. Guest scales with how much your guests actually listen, not how many walk in. Annual is the default and the cheaper option; flip to monthly to compare.

Custom
Volume discountThe more your guests listen, the less each play costs, from about 17¢ a play on Local down to under a penny at World scale.

Start on Local; grow as engagement does. A new property has few plays at first, so you start small and move up a band only as listening sustainably grows. Same ladder for every vertical, a vineyard and a world landmark price on the same metric.

What counts as a play?

A play is one guest listening to at least 30 seconds of a story, the same bar Spotify uses to count a stream. Accidental taps under 30 seconds don't count, and your team testing it never counts. Everything else is a play, replays included, because a guest who listens again or shares it with the table is exactly the engagement you want. Every billable play is itemized in your dashboard, so the meter is auditable down to the story.

Pricing FAQ

The questions you're probably thinking about.

How does Geocast pricing work?

Per location. Start free with the Grader to see what AI says about you. Foundation ($99/location/mo on the annual plan) is the verified base. From there you add experiences: Staff is priced per active person, Guest by how much your guests actually listen (plays), and Events per event. Annual is the default and the cheaper option; monthly costs a bit more.

What counts as a play?

A play is one guest listening to at least 30 seconds of a story, the same bar Spotify uses to count a stream. Accidental taps under 30 seconds never count, and your team testing it never counts. Everything else is a play, replays included, a guest who listens again or shares it with friends is exactly the engagement you're paying for. Because the count drives your bill, every gray area goes in your favor, and every billable play is itemized in your dashboard, so the meter is auditable down to the story.

What's the difference between Foundation and Experiences?

Foundation makes AI tell the truth about your property, the verified, source-receipted facts layer. Experiences are what that truth flows into: your team (Staff), your guests (Guest), and your one-off moments (Events). Foundation is the spine; experiences are the audiences.

Do I have to buy everything at once?

No. You buy Foundation plus whichever experience you want, then add the rest when you're ready. Many properties start with Staff because it's internal and the lowest risk, then expand to Guest once they've felt it work.

How is the Staff experience priced?

Per active person. Your first 5 people are free, then it's a few dollars per active seat, billed on your current roster, never on cumulative turnover. A seat is a real person, identified by name and phone the first time they listen, so the thing that drives the cost is the thing that delivers the value: people actually trained.

What stops someone from sharing one staff seat with the whole team?

The product itself. The reason you buy Staff is the per-person completion record, who finished food-safety, who finished alcohol-service, for your own compliance. A seat is tied to a person (name and phone, no password), and completion tracks against that person. Share one seat across the whole team and your compliance log shows one name, which is useless to the manager paying for it. We also watch for one identity logging in from many devices at once. Honest seat counts are the only counts that are actually worth anything to you.

We're seasonal. How does that work?

Commit annually on your average headcount for the discount. Peaks above your commitment true-up at the same rate; troughs stay covered. It's built for properties that swing from 500 to 5,000 staff across a year, so a slow season never overcharges you and a peak never surprises you.

Is this only for hotels?

No. Foundation and Staff work for any place with a team and a location: restaurants, museums, wineries, resorts. The Guest experience is strongest wherever people explore on foot. A restaurant isn't a hotel, but the turnover problem and the AI-accuracy problem are the same.

What's the Hunt add-on?

A riddle-unlock game that plugs into Guest (a kids' treasure hunt or ghost hunt) or Events (a corporate scavenger hunt). It's a clean add-on from $99/mo per hunt, so the people who want a game get one and everyone else isn't paying for it.

What about voice minutes?

Talk-to-Geocast minutes (the voice that runs your admin) are included on every plan, then $0.30/min beyond the cap. It's a cost-control footnote, not the thing you're buying, so it sits below the experiences in how we price.

Can I cancel any time?

Monthly plans cancel any time, effective at the end of the period. Annual plans are pro-rated within 30 days. No cancellation fee, ever.
